HOW LONG CAN I STORE FOR?
Whether you want to store long term or are looking for temporary storage, we can help. Our minimum hire period is 4 weeks and every 4 weeks thereafter on a rolling licence agreement.
HOW DOES THE RETURNABLE DEPOSIT WORK?
We ask for a £50 deposit before you take possession which is refundable when you vacate. You need to leave the container clean and tidy, return the keys and have no balance outstanding.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE?
We require two weeks notice.
WHEN CAN I ACCESS MY GOODS?

You drive straight up to your unit, you unlock, you unload, you collect what you need and off you go.
HOW DO CONTAINERS COMPARE TO WAREHOUSING
Our storage containers offer an excellent alternative to warehouse storage. The access from your van, car or lorry to your belongings is generally easier and our prices compare extremely favourably.
IS SEASONAL STORAGE AVAILABLE?
Our customers often use us seasonally for convenient off-site storage from their businesses.

Some people use us seasonally for personal storage such as for summer or winter sports equipment.

If children are at home from university during the summer holidays and storage space is tight at home, customers use our storage containers for their excess household storage.

WHAT SECURITY DO WE OFFER ON-SITE?
The sites are covered day and night by a bespoke security CCTV system and site security flood lighting. We put significant thought and resource into our security. We believe it to be a most crucial aspect and remains constantly under review.
DO YOU OFFER INSURANCE FOR MY BELONGINGS?
We do not provide insurance cover for your belongings. You must acquire your own adequate insurance cover.

We recommend that our customers use Surewise who offer specialist insurance for container storage.

DO THE UNITS LEAK AND WHAT ABOUT CONDENSATION?
No, our containers are new and water-tight. We have customers (including staff!) who store water sensitive items such as electronics and furniture with no problems.

Almost everything that’s imported into the UK from overseas comes in via a shipping container. Clothing, furniture, domestic goods, machine parts, medicine, toys, computers, mobile phones – usually start their journey to the UK in a shipping container.

If the container is kept dry inside there will be no condensation. We have ventilation in all our units and for additional protection they are sprayed with grafotherm. If however, someone brings wet or waterlogged items into the unit this will cause condensation issues as this water is trapped in the unit. Therefore, please ensure all your items such as washing machines and fridges/freezers are completely dry before placing them into storage.
CAN I STORE MY VEHICLE IN YOUR FACILITY?
No, we don't allow cars or motorbikes to be stored in containers as they have fuel inside.

We do offer external car storage at our Standish site.
